Last Updated on October 6, 2021 by

You can say without a doubt that the movies have made a great development over the last 20 years. The movies affect a lot of people’s upbringing. And they certainly enrich people’s imagination, creativity and made me dare to dream. Even though you may be an adult, you can love cartoons just as much as when you are a kid. That’s why we thought of sharing our top Disney movies.

Zootopia

The movie came out in 2016. This is a movie you can watch over and over again without getting tired. It’s about Judy Hopps, a rabbit. She goes against the stream and becomes a cop even though no one believes her. She is moving to the big city but it is not quite as she imagined. A movie that shows that you should never judge someone by appearance and if you work hard you will succeed.

Big Hero 6

The film came in 2014 and is incredibly well made. We get to follow Hiro, who in sad circumstances loses his big brother in an accident. On his way back to life he happens to start Baymax, which is his brother’s invention that will help people (the big white guy). On their journey, they begin to find traces that Hiro’s brother’s death may not have been an accident after all. Hiro takes the help of his brother’s friends to solve the mystery. Fantastic movie, it offers so much laughter while at the same time absorbing death and sorrow.

Wreck-It Ralph

2012 was the year this amazing movie came out. For older people, it’s fun to recognize many of the games we played when young. Wreck-It Ralph is a character that many of the others are afraid of, precisely because his job is to rob/destroy. His biggest dream is to become a hero, gain respect but above all be loved by the others. One day he decides to leave his game and embark on a very big adventure.

Pocahontas

The movie came out in 1995 and won two Oscars. A movie that is still relevant today considering everything that is happening around the world. What many may not know is that Pocahontas has actually lived in reality. She was born in 1595 and died at the age of 21 in England in 1617. If Disney’s version of Pocahontas and the love for John Smith (the real Pocahontas married a John Rolfe) is 100 percent genuine, no one knows. The music in the movie is as beautiful as the details you see throughout the movie. A real classic that children today that is a must-see.

The Princess and the Frog

What made this movie so hugely popular in 2009 when it came out was not just because Tiana was the first dark princess that Dinsey had. It was also the first movie in many years that was not animated but where the cartoonists drew the movie just like Walt Disney himself did when he created Mickey Mouse. The movie takes place in New Orleans and has a wonderful feeling but it is also very exciting as it contains a little voodoo.

Maleficent

The movie came out in 2014 and all of a sudden a lot of makeup tutorials appeared on youtube where everyone wanted to show how to get Angelina’s magic cheekbones. The film is a new version of sleeping beauty and in the lead roles, we see Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning. Have you missed this one then you must see it because it is what one describes a good Disney movie, magical!

Alice in Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland is one of Disney’s most underrated movies, in our opinion. The story of Alice falling into the rabbit hole has been told in many different stories. Disney’s cartoon version was released in 1951. What we always loved about history is that nothing is as it seems, what was up is now down and nothing is impossible. In 2016, the sequel to the movie 2010, namely Alice in Wonderland – Through the Looking Glass. It is much better than the first.

Beauty and the Beast

How crazy is it that this movie is still going to the cinema when it came out on March 17, 2017? The movie is something absolutely magical and one of the best movies Disney ever made.
